Please Read for details on the latest JB features: Version 4.09 Fixes a "new user" startup problem introduced in the previous version. Version 4.09 Over time there have been a myriad of registration issues that have cropped up and caused problems. This update addresses all of those issues and should correct them. Version 4.08 Fixes a problem in the script for auto-downloading patterns from Bid Buddy. You must also install the BB update (Rev t) for this fix to work. Version 4.07 1) Updates the IIM script so that the Mail button now works with the new email system 2) Changes the JB logic so that if you attempt to get scheduled flights, if no data is returned during the first attempt, JB will automatically make a second attempt to get the flights. If the second attempt works, you will never see the "No data returned" message. Version 4.06 Fixes a problem in the Access Info screen where the [Save] button would not be enabled for some password changes. Also in the FOI when getting loads, if an invalid load is returned, JB will automatically attempt to get that load one more time before displaying a message that no data was returned for that flight load. Version 4.04 This update changes the AccessInfo Screen so that you will have to explicitly save changes made to some information on the screen. It also fixes a problem that could occur when changing users on that screen. If you close the screen without saving, the old settings will be preserved. Fixes an error condition that could occur when selecting the option to list a non-employee and also which could occur when simply selecting the option to list on a flight. Fixes many other conditions which could lead to "record out of range" errors, especially if you have defined two users. Version 4.00 Updates the Access Info screen to include new bases for the A330. Updates the script to start ATLAS BID automatically. Version 3.99 Fixes a problem booking jumpseats for the secondary user when there are two different JB users with entries in the JFL. Version 3.98 Updates the "Email" script to work with the new ATLAS main screen. Changes the "Saved Flight Load" so that it now shows the formatted load instead of the raw-data numbers. Version 3.97 Adds a printer setup option to the "Preferences" menu. Flight updating will no longer terminate if no data is returned for a specific flight. You will now get a warning and then updating will continue. JB will not attempt to update flight information in the FOI screen if the flight has departed within more than 1 day. Version 3.96 Adds some new cities to the airport list including SJD, DBX, STT. Also instead of returning and error message, JB will return zeros for flight load if the flight is not operating and include a message that the flight is not operating on that day. Version 3.95 Fixes a problem getting flights using the "to-do" list. Sometimes all of the actions in the list would not be completed. That is now fixed. Also after getting the flights and returning to the "to-do" list, the list might have displayed part of the grid from the FOI table. That issue is also fixed. And finally, this update fixes a potential math error in the "total seats available" field when updating some international flights. All of the other fields were correct but the totals seats field could sometimes be incorrect by a large number. That issue is also fixed. I don't know how many of you have used the "Favorite City Pairs" feature, but I think if you start using it that you'll really like it. Version 3.94 Fixes a problem parsing some returned flight load records which could have resulted in an error message being generated. Version 3.93 The listing codes have changed and also has their order. Change your code preference in the Access Information Screen in JB. This update also fixes a possible error issue when listing on a flight from the PARS scheduled flights window. You could have gotten a record-out-of-range error when attempting to list from this window under some circumstances. If you cancel a flight listing from the Listed Flights History Window, that window will now close automatically after canceling the listing. Version 3.92 Fixes the Email and ATLAS BID scripts. NWA changed the main ATLAS screen recently which necessitated this fix. The email button will now work. Version 3.90 Fixes a problem booking the jumpseat for primary and secondary users in the same booking period or session. Now when you book the jumpseats should be booked consecutively and successfully. Version 3.88 Fixes a problem with the countdown timer function in the JB renewal form. The screen will close automatically in 15 seconds if you do nothing, that way auto-booking isn't interferred with. Version 3.87 Update version only. For anybody that was getting an error message after updating to 3.86. Version 3.86 Updates the Pentry logon script so that JB will successfully perform the automatic logon. Version 3.85 The ABM will now stop if you click on the JFL while it is running. The JFL is now set to return to the top listing after running [Update All JFL Loads]. The command buttons on the JFL page will then be appropriately enabled. Version 3.83 JB is modified so that you can perform all functions with the ABM running. I don't recommend this because all operations will be slower due to the fact that every second JB will cycle through the JFL list to see if a jumpseat needs booking; however, if you forget to turn the ABM off and perform some functions, JB will continue to operate properly instead of generating an error message and shutting down. Version 3.82 I've added a button that appears when you start JB and the ABM is set to start on startup. This button allows you to stop the ABM before anything else happens. The button will appear for the number of delay seconds you put in your access information screen under "Preferences". The delay can be anywhere from 0 to 9 seconds. The value will initially be set to 4 seconds after you install this update. Version 3.81 won't present the [Cancel ABM Start] button if the JFL is empty because the ABM wouldn't start anyway.
The
3.82 does not allow you to press [ok] when entering the reg # until a reg # of 17 characters has been entered in the field. Version 3.79 1) Updates the email link to reflect the new position on the ATLAS main page. The email button should now work properly. 2) Changes the FDE so that if you clear the flight number field, the appropriate buttons are disabled. 3) Shows your subscription expiration date in "Help"..."About" 4) Changes the JB registration screen so that the [OK] button is not enabled unless the registration code is entered. Also stops the registration screen countdown timer as soon as you begin entering the reg # so that you have as much time as you need to enter the registration code. Version 3.77 1) I introduced a problem listing on flights in the previous update. That problem is fixed, and listing is speeded up. 2) Even better event and error logging when booking the jumpseat. 3) Fixes a problem in which the cancelled listing would not be the FLO flight removed from the list. Version 3.75 1) Improved error logging if while auto-booking the jumpseat your computer is unable to log on to the ATLAS site... which JB must do to also load the JS booking page and have your employee number. 2) Cosmetics on "CP Favorites" page changed for consistency. 3) Fixes a problem getting TDL flights when "Auto Open FOI" was checked in the "Selected Flights" screen. Version 3.74 1) Fixes the generic listing function which I broke when I released the last update. 2) Speeds up non-rev listing, Version 3.71 and 3.73 This is a significant update. It will greatly improve auto-jumpseat booking reliability by performing page load checks and reloading the JS booking page as necessary. With the power added in version 3.68, there is no program available that gives you better odds of getting the jumpseats you need. The JS event logging is also greatly improved. This version will also significantly improve the success of JS data return info. There is significantly less dependence upon the Atlas Page Load Delay setting as JB will now reload the JS booking page until the page is loaded successfully. Remember successful JS booking page load cannot occur until the ATLAS page has completely loaded. I recommend an ATLAS page load delay setting of 16 seconds. Furthermore, booking if you book too early is greatly improved and in fact it might be to your advantage to book slightly early. I recommend an "Advance booking time" setting of 0.7-0.8 seconds. You can experiment to see which setting works best for you. JS data return should also be faster after booking is either successful or the JS is taken. I've also changed the FIFO button to LTFO to reflect the new reserve system. Version 3.72 changes the autobook monitor logic to stop booking the JS if the JS status is "Unable". It also adds a "reset" button to the JFL. This button allows you to reset "Cancelled", "Error", and "Unable" JS Status to "Not Yet" with 0 booking attempts and no JS data. Version 3.67 1) When you copy a flight in the JFL by right-clicking over the flight, the copy flight date is now highlighted in the pop-up calendar so it's easy to reference the copy date point. 2) JB now disables the [Fifo] and [Open] buttons when the user is a flight attendant. Version 3.66 I introduced a bug in 3.65 that caused an error message when displaying the jumpseat booking messaged. That bug is fixed in 3.66. Fixes a critical issue for auto-booking. The PARS time check was triggering on a token that was no longer being consistently returned by the PARS mainframe. This caused the PARS time check to fail most of the time when auto-booking. The result is that your computer could not be synchronized with the PARS computer time. This version corrects that problem. Version 3.64 1) Adds buttons for [Fifo] and [Open Time]. In the case of Fifo, after pressing the button a calendar will pop up so you can select the date for which you want the fifo list. In the case of Open Time, the one-click button will get open time for the next 30 days inclusive. 2) You can now copy a flight in the JFL by simply right-clicking over the flight you want to copy. When you right click a pop-up calendar will appear for you to select the new flight date. After selecting the new flight date, if the date is valid, the flight will immediately be placed in the JFL. Version 3.62: Updates Mail and ATLASBID start buttons to reflect new positions of ATLAS home page. Version 3.61: Fixes a few minor bugs related to "listing" on flights and canceling the PNR on flights you've listed on. Version 3.60: Greatly improves generic non-rev listing by automatically logging on and entering flight info in the FDE. Also fixes a potential problem when using the "Update ALL" button if the "Transfer to FOI check box" is checked in the "Available Flights" screen. Version 3.59: Corrects a problem getting loads on some international flight segments. Version 3.58: Updates the Access logon script. Version 3.57: Changes the renewal screen to include your serial number and expiration date. Please include that info when you renew because I will need it to correctly generate your renewal registration #. I've also changed the FLO tab so that it never blanks out the user. If you delete all of the entries, the first user is automatically selected. Version 3.56: Further refines the "User" issues so that the "User" field is never blank after deleting all flights in either the JFL or FLO. Version 3.55: Adds ALB to airport list. Insures that anytime you save a flight to the JFL or FLO, there is always a user selected. Previously, it was possible to save flights with no user selected. This would result in an error and loss of those flights when re-starting JB. Updates the email script so that the script stops once the email page comes up. Ensures that the aircraft type is copied when you copy flights from the FLO. I view this as a fairly important update. Version 3.54: Back to allowing you to book multiple jumpseats (non-backup) on the same day. Also corrects an issue in which JB would detect that you had booked the JS but put "Unable" in the status column and the JS PNR in the JS Rec Loc column. This update will also change the "attempts" value in access info to "2". This is necessary when using the ABM with the new booking script. Recommendation for version 3.38 is to advance booking time by no more than .1 seconds You can also control when the jumpseat info is actually loaded and when the booking countdown begins. This setting is in your Access Information Screen.
The last setting controls the delay to allow for the ATLAS page to load when checking email or starting ATLAS Bid. The slower your internet connection, the longer the delay should be. The default is 10 seconds. Adjust it until mail and ATLAS Bid launch properly. If you are having a problem with connection errors in Jet Book, do the following: 1) Uninstall the IIM Browser using add/remove programs. 2) Delete the folder "C:\Programs Files\Internet Macros" (Do NOT delete the "C:\Program Files" folder) 3) Run Jet Book once and then close it. 4) Click this link for instructions on entering the IIM Player License Code: IIM Setup Instructions for use with Jet Book 5) Run Jet Book normally Version 3.30 adds a "ATLAS Mail" button for one-click access to your NWA email. You can now use the Windows Task Scheduler (WTS) to start Jet Book. If you set Jet Book up as described below, Jet Book will start up with the Auto Book Monitor (ABM) "on", run for a designated period (for the purpose of booking jumpseats), and then close. You can use the Windows Task Scheduler to autorun JB every day at a designated time so that you don't have to think about it or leave JB running in the background. With JB in the WTS, JB does not need to be running to book jumpseats because Windows will start it automatically; however, your computer must be on. You can set the WTS so that your computer starts JB even if it is hibernating. You can consult JB help for a detailed description of how to set this up. Or click the following link to the same instructions online. Using the Windows Task Scheduler To Start Jet Book Click this link for Jet-Book online html help (scroll down to see 4 screen shots)
